installare i seguenti pacchetti e riavviare:
ubuntu-restricted-extras
libxine1-ffmpeg
phonon-backend-xine
phonon-backend-gstreamer
Si può fare da Synaptic o da terminale
sudo apt-get install ubuntu-restricted-extras libxine1-ffmpeg phonon-backend-xine phonon-backend-gstreamer
